Setting up meetings with funders

You sent a request to meet, the funder responded positively and you were both introduced... what should you do next?

While most funders will usually set up a video meeting or call after being introduced, you can also take ownership of making it happen! Don't be shy and take the first step by setting up a time and place to meet with the funders, be it a simple phone call or a Zoom meeting.

Each funder will have its own process after being introduced to you. Some may want you to schedule a time to chat on their Calendly link, while others may want you to first complete an application form before meeting directly.

As mentioned earlier, our advice is to take the initiative!

Should you NOT hear back from a funder after being introduced and attempting to set a meeting, please do let us know!
